The feed was very international today, besides the furor in Ottawa there were cyclists hit in Bahrain, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Jolly Olde, California, (see I do know more than just the postal abbreviations for the states) and Washington (not DC).

I hear through back channels that all but one of the riders is doing well, or has already been released from hospital to home car. Still no confirmed word on the most seriously injured of the 5.

Just kidding, I know that this is just what statisticians call “noise” and is not indicative of any long-term trends, but still, it really makes you guys look bad. Keep this up and they’ll be calling you the Florida of Canada, and not in a complimentary way.
