Cyclist hit by AC Transit bus awarded $2.5 million settlement There was a bus stopped to the left of a bike lane when the other bus made a left through said bike lane as a bike came out from behind the bus that was stopped. The suit was basically won when it was decided the moving bus was going too fast, but I never saw any reason for the stopped bus to be stopped at a green light which definitely contributed to the wreck as it obscured the views of both of the vehicles in the wreck.
