Well, one of us here at Casa de El Poeta has their first COVID 19 vaccination. For some reason I’m still not eligible in my county for the shot, but Mrs. the Poet was, and our son in the neighboring county was. But I’m not old enough or have bad enough co-morbidities to qualify for the shot in my county. Apparently our governor is literally that small-minded that he is allocating the vaccines based on how the county voted for President during the 2020 election, because red counties are already into the general population, while blue counties just finished EMTs and critical care nurses and are moving to senior citizens.
So far all Mrs. the Poet has in the way of side effects are a little stiffness and some discomfort a little more than 24 hours out. She’s basically in a good mood and disposition. I’ll keep tracking her condition, because SCIENCE!!! and, I love her, too.
