Interesting, both of those are made for USA holidays. Star Wars Day is basically a pun, and Cinco was a promotion for Tequila started during the 1980s. And if they had gotten the history right it wouldn’t be as big a problem as it is, but somehow winning a major battle against an invading army turned into Mexican Independence Day in the ads.
Today we “celebrated” by having frozen burritos and Mexican rice, and ice cream for dessert, and a sandy desert because I’m an invertebrate punster, spinelessly unable to resist puns. And I can’t stay awake because of only getting about 3 or so hours of sleep last night.
